St Hugh's CofE Primary School

Children are expected to be clean and neatly dressed. We believe that they should be dressed for the job they are doing and that school is a place of work. Our school uniform is as follows:

• Girls should wear a grey pinafore, skirt or trousers with a white polo shirt and a royal blue jumper/cardigan and grey or white socks or tights.
• Boys should wear grey trousers with a white polo shirt and a royal blue jumper.
• All children should wear sensible black school shoes, not flip flops, high heels, boots, trainers etc.
• In summer, girls may wear a royal blue checked/striped summer dress and boys may wear grey shorts.
• Children should have appropriate outdoor wear (waterproof jackets/coats, sun hats/caps)
• Outrageous hairstyles are not allowed and parents will be contacted if children arrive at school with one.
• Jeans are not acceptable.

Jumpers and Cardigans with the school logo on are available to buy at the school office all year round.

Children will be provided with a PE kit when they start in Year 1. As they grow out of it, new kit can be purchased from the school office.
