School closes for the summer holidays on Tuesday 24th July at 1pm and will re-open on Tuesday 4th September at 8:50am.

Heads Welcome

On behalf of all the children, parents, staff and governors of St Hugh's, I extend a warm welcome to you. St. Hugh's Church of England Primary School is an aided one-form entry primary school serving Holts Village on the outskirts of Lees, Oldham. It is an inclusive school, which aims to promote the children's spiritual, moral and cultural development, helping children towards an understanding of Christian belief and other world faiths.

If your child is to join us soon, we hope that this will be the beginning of a very happy time for you and your child. We firmly acknowledge the partnership that exists between the Home and School and hope to work with you closely during the time that your child/children are with us. We actively strive to develop these links because we believe that the process of educating your child is one in which we share responsibility.

Our Mission Statement defines our values and vision for our CE identity within our community; we are a learning establishment that ensures that the requirements of the National Curriculum are met and where each child's Religious development and Faith is nurtured. At St. Hugh's our whole community of children, staff, parents and governors believe in welcoming everyone as individuals recognising that everyone has a valuable contribution to make to the life and work of the school.

We hope you enjoy browsing our website. It contains a great deal of information about our school, but if there is anything else you wish to know about, please do not hesitate to contact us either by phone or by email. We are always happy to welcome parents into school and look forward to seeing you.
