St Hugh's CofE Primary School

On Thursday 27^th April, Year 5 went on their annual visit to Castleshaw. The aim of the day was to develop key skills such as reading a map and completing physical fieldwork where the children were able to investigate the environment. They completed activities such as orienteering in groups and stream dipping, where they could investigate different levels on pollution in our local environment. The children really enjoyed the opportunity to take part in practical activities. Overall, it was a very successful trip.
